Kingsman: The Golden Circle is not only winning the box office, but its opening gross is on track to be higher than the original film. Get the details, and check out the estimated totals for this weekend’s Top 10 movies below!

Kingsman: The Golden Circle is the sequel to 2014’s Kingsman: The Secret Service. Starring Colin Firth and Taron Egerton, the action-comedy was based on the Kingsman comic book series. Egerton, in his first big role, played a young guy recruited to be a secret spy, as trained by an agent portrayed by Firth. The second installment brings the two actors back together, joined again by director Matthew Vaughn. The cast was expanded for the new edition to also feature two pretty big names: Halle Berry and Channing Tatum. Julianne Moore came on board as well, and Elton John even appears as himself.

Though the reviews for Golden Circle are mediocre and its debut gross a little lower than projected, a $39 million opening beats the $36.2 million its predecessor started out with three years ago. And while Secret Service had to settle for second place, the follow-up will snag first place on this week’s rankings. In fact, the film is pushing two-week chart-topper It down to the runner-up position. The adaptation of the classic Stephen King novel will likely take in $29.1 million in its third weekend. Meanwhile, The Lego Ninjago Movie isn’t living up to internal or external expectations. The latest film in The Lego Movie franchise should debut with around $20.8 million and land in the number three spot.

Meanwhile, American Assassin may follow in fourth place with around $6.2 million. Home Again will likely take in $3.4 million to land in fifth, but Mother! is very close behind and currently pegged to nab $3.3 million, so their positions may flip-flop. Similarly, The Hitman’s Bodyguard and the new thriller Friend Request are both eyeing approximately $1.8 million, and it’s unclear right now which title will finish in seventh and which will end up eighth. Regardless, Stronger ($1.6 million) and Wind River ($1.2 million) will probably round out the Top 10. All figures are currently estimates, and Gossip Cop will have updates.
